PARTITION RECOMMENDED TO LEAGUE^

GENEVA, September 17.
The League adopted the report of the Mandates Commission after hearing the statement of Mr R. A. Butler (British Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs). The statement reaffirmed that partition presented the most hopeful solution of Palestine’s problem.
