SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS’ UNION

The Rev. R. Warnock (president) presided at the bi-monthly meeting of the Christchurch branch of the Presbyterian Sunday School Teachers’ Union which was held in St. Ninian’s Schoolroom, Riccarton. ■ The president read a detailed account of all arrangements made for the union’s Labour week-end conference It was reported that circulars had been sent to all the schools asking for offers of hospitality for delegates who may come from a distance. It was decided to hold the annual meeting at St. Paul’s Schoolroom in November. The Rev. Gordon xaylor gave an informative address on a chosen subiect “The Teacher and His Old Testament.’’ A vote of thanks was passed to the speaker and to the Rev. Farquhar Gunn and to teachers of St. Ninian’s Sunday School, who provided and served the supper.
