Farrell as the Otago University nominees for Rhodes Scholarships. Mr Wade,, who is 22 years of age, was born at Balclutha and educated at Waitaki,Boys' High School and Otago University, where he graduated B.A. after a distinguished athletic and academic career. Mr Farrell was born in Dunedm and educated at Otago;,Boys'.
