CIVIL RESERVE OF PILOTS
CANDIDATES APPROVED
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGBAM.) WELLINGTON, September 16. The Minister for Defence (the Hon. F. Jones) announced to-day that the following candidates had been recently approved for enrolment in the Civil Reserve of Pilots, and that their training had been started with aero clubs: — Canterbury Aero Club—E. N. R. Guthrie, A. M. Hobbs, G. P. Keller, L. H. Parry. West Coast-United Aero Club—K. J. Coakley, D. Scott. Otago Aero Club—V. D. Gain, N. Paterson. Southland Aero Club—G. W. Alington. R. H. Alington, P. S. Fougere. Auckland Aero Club—E. E. Crocker. P. R. Fenton, K. C. Lee, W. K. Paterson.
Western Federated Flying Club—J. Bayly, M. R. Clark, R. M. Goldstone, A. C. McKenzie, P. F. L. Stephenson, L. M. Birdling. Middle Districts Aero Club—G. II Hailey, E. Orgias, R. H. Patterson. Hawke's Bay and East Coast Aero Club —H. A. Stratton, T. M. de Denne. Wairarapa and Ruahine Aero Club — T. E. Denbee, J. H. Hamill, R. W Prout/H. C. George, W. R. Jaspers.
Wellington Aero Club—J. A. Oldfield, R. C. E. Scott.
