i From Our Parliamentary ReporterJ
WELLINGTON, September la.
The possibility of the guaranteed price for dairy produce for the current export season beihg- announced to-morrow was mentioned by the .Minister for Marketing (the Hon. W. Nash) during consideration of the supplementary estimates in the House of Representatives' td-night Reference wasmade by Mr W. J. Poison (National, Stratford) to an item of £ 500 .to cover, the expenses of the guaranteed price advisory committee. He said that no doubt the committee had produced a very valuable report, and one that was well worth £500; but it would be of little use if no one was to see the report:
“The chances are that unless something unforeseen -happens, the guaranteed price will- be., announced when the House meets at 10.30 a.m.‘ to-morrow,' or if 'not then at 2.30 p.m.,” said Mr Nash, ously with the announcement of the price, the report of the committee will be handed ; to the press.”
