DR. S. ALEXANDER (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT.) LONDON. Sepetmber 13. The death has occurred of Dr. Samuel Alexander. [Dr. Samuel Alexander was born in Sydney in 1869. He was educated at Wesley College, Melbourne, and Balliol College, Oxford, and took the degrees of M.A. and Litt.D. He was accorded honorary degrees by St. Andrews, Edinburgh, Durham, Oxford Cambridge, and Liverpool Universities. He published a number of works on pure philosophy and was special lecturer at Oxford, Glasgow, and Manchester Universities.]
