MR J. A. GILMOUR CONDUCTS FIRST SESSION

?8888 ASSOCIATION TEUEGRAH.) AUCKLAND, September 13. : For the first time in New Zealand an Industrial Magistrate to-day presided over a Court. Mr J. A. Gilmour, S.M., recently appointed to the Bench in an industrial capacity, sat in the Arbitration Court rooms to make fixtures for the hearing of matters delegated td his jurisdiction by the Arbitration Court.

Mr Gilmour will have a miscellany of matters to consider, ranging from applications to interpret and amend awards to applications to add parties and objections to being added. Some of the disputes are two years old, and others are recent.
