WAIAU CROQUET CLUB
The annual meeting of the Waiau Croquet Club was, held recently. The balance-sheet showed a satisfactory credit balance.
Officers were elected as follow: Patroness, Mrs H. Dampier-Crossley; president, Mrs J. O. Davies; vice-presi-dents, Mesdames H. Lunn, A. H. Baker, D2 C. Macfarlane, J. L. Macfarlane. MJss Brown, and Mr A. Neilson; club captain, Mrs Casserley; vice-captain, Mrs McNeur; secretary and treasurer, Mfs F. L. McKie; committee, Mesdames Rqgers, Higgins, Belton, Crampton, and J. H. McKie; green supervisor and handicapper, Mr J. McKie; auditor, Mr S. Davis.
Opening day was fixed for October 1.
