Senior Grade Notes As in previous years, the shooting in the final series of matches fell considerably short of the standard set in previous matches. Five teams only reached totals
of more. than 550,' and 20 individual possibles were scored. 1 Sydenham fully extended United, the champion team for 1938, a draw being a good indication of the general trend of the match. Marist shot well below form and was beaten by Cashmere A by three points. Working Men’s Club, New Brighton, and Sumner won their respective matches by narrow margins.
