MOTHERS’ UNION
OXFORD BRANCH MEETS The September meeting of the Oxford Mothers’ Union was held recently. The service in St. Andrew’s Church was conducted by the Rev. E. G. Powell. Mrs Powell announced that the next meeting of the union would be a “quiet day,” services beginning at 10.45 in the church.
Mrs F. N. Taylor, of Amberley, gave an address. Hostesses were Mesdames M. Johnston and E. C. R. In wood.
MEETING AT MiKWEE The monthly meeting of the Sirwee branch of the Mothers* Union was held recently, when Mrs G. A. Tomer presided. A vote of sympathy was passed with Mr and Mrs A. Colee In their bereavement Members were invited to join Hie Halkett branch at its next when the Rev. F. B. Redgrave will be the speaker. An address was given by the Rev. Dr. T. Paterson, on his recent visit to California. Mrs Devonshire and Miss Batstone were hostesses.
