THE FIRST FOUR SHIPS

TO TUB r.PITOR OP TIIK PHBSS. Sir,—lt, may be interesting to your readers who saw that old picture in "The Press" on Saturday to know that the ship to the extreme right of the picture with the painted ports is the Sir George Seymour. In 1878 I saw the old ship in St. Catherine's Dock in London loading government stores for Bermuda. The hull was still painted the same; but the rigging was more modern, and the old craft even then looked well.—Yours, etc., OLD SAILOR. March 11. 1935.
