CANTERBURY COLLEGE STUDENTS
NOMINATIONS FOR EXECUTIVE Many nominations have been received for positions on the executive of the Canterbury University College Students' Association for 1935. The elections will be held on Thursday. The results will be announced at the annual meeting cf the association on Friday evening. The following nominations had been received yesterday afternoon. — President: Messrs G. M. Tiffen and D. J.. M. Glover. Men's vice-presi-dent: Messrs L. A. D. Hayman, P. M. Jowett, and M. Hunter. Women's vicepresident: Misses M. E. Thornton, W. M. Weenink, E. R. Lawn, and M. Mules. Secretary: Mr E. J. Rodger. Assistant secretary: Messrs T. Hyde and M. D. Watts. Treasurer: Mr A. R. Currie. Women executive members: Misses I. Young and C. Hunter. Men's executive members: Messrs R. E. Coury. A. C. McClelland, J. M. Steeds. (). P." Gabites, I. O. Stace, B. Hope, and N. C. Bradley.
Three men's representatives and two women's are required. Of the executive last year Messrs Gcddes and Tiffen Miss Thornton arc seeking re-election. _
