PARTIES AT NEXT ELECTION SYDNEY. March 11. Mr B. S. B. Stevens (Premier of New South Wales) announces that the United Australian party and the United Country party will go to the country at the next election as a solid body. There will be no clash of candidates in any electorate. VICTORIAN ELECTIONS MINISTER DEFEATED MELBOURNE, March 11. In the final count in the Victorian election, Mr lan Macfarlan (Minister for Electrical Undertakings) was returned with a majority of more than 500. Mr J. W. Pennington (Minister for Education) was defeated. ______________
