A BUSH VALLEY FIFTY YEARS AGO
TO THE EDITOR o£* THE PRIbS. Sir,—l am sorry to see that the onlything Mr Peter Trolove got out of Mr Gibson's delightful description of "A Bush Valley Fifty Years Ago" was a desire to pull it to pieces. I am certain there are many other town-bred folk like myself who read that letter with pure joy, and a great longing that we too might some day experience the delights of which Mr Gibson wrote,
or to regret we had missed so much of nature's marvellous handiwork. After reading some of the letters ih "The Press" this one comes to us as a breath of pure mountain air, and we would welcome many such. All thanks to Mr Gibson and may he long continue to enjoy the companionship of his little feathered friends, even if it only be in memory.—Yours, 6tC " BIRD LOVER. March 9, 1935.
