AERIAL LIGHTHOUSE
ERECTION IN DESERT PARIS, March 3. The first Sahara lighthouse erected in order* to guide aeroplanes will operate at "Bidon Cinq" (station five), in the middle of the waterless Tanezrouft region, otherwise a land of fear. The bidon consists of a wheelless railway carriage for the accommodation of trans-Sahara air passengers, and a petrol dump with a native attendant.
