THEATRE ROYAL
LAST NIGHT OF "THE WIND ANT) THE RAIN" The Theatre Royal was filled for the last performance of "The Wind and the Rain," Dr. Merton Hodge's delightful comedy, at the Theatre Royal on Saturday evening. The whole play was again smoothly done, and the acting was in an appropriately easy style, thorough, and pleasing. The acting of the principals, Miss Jocelyn Howarth and Mr George Thirlwell, received warm applause. At the conclusion of the performance Mr Thirlwell made a short speech thanking the people of Christchurch for the support given to the company.
