EXPLOSION AT OIL WELL

TEN PERSONS KILLED ST. GEORGE (Utah). March 7. Ten persons were killed and 20 injured while watching the "shooting in" of a new oil well. A heavy charge of nitro-glycerine which was dropped into the hole exploded prematurely, ripped the derrick from its moorings, and hurled it among the spectators. The blast rocked Hie countryside for a radius of five miles.
