PARKING IN RHODES STREET

TO THE EDITOR OT THE PRESS. Sir, —Some motorists lately have been in the habit of parking their cars at the turning in Rhodes street. There is just room for one car between the footpath and the tramline, and if a tram meets a motor-car there a crash must inevitably follow. I suppose nothing will be done until someone is killed, and then it will be too late. Surely the authorities can prevent such selfishness? It only means parking a few yards nearer the river to ensure safety.—Yours, etc., WHO CARES? March 8, 1935.
