MOTOR RACES

MEETING THIS AFTERNOON This afternoon some very interesting motor racing should be seen on the New Brighton trotting grounds, for which excellent entries have been received, including several of the most outstanding riders in the Dominion, among them A. Bradley, who has been very successful in the North Island and at Blenheim and Nelson this season. Particular interest is being take: 1 , in his meeting with the cream of Canterbury's riders, who have in their training made an excellent showing There will also be considerable interest in the light car racing, in which the following will compete: J. R. Tench (Singer), J. Courage (Singer), B. Little (Wolseley Hornet). H. Hay ward (Austin), B. J. .Tench (Singer), and C. E. Hayward (Austin). There will be eight events the first starting at 2.15, and as prices are low, there should be a large assemblage.
