♦ Five Million Dollars A Day : ; ONE-SIXTH OF NATION ASSISTED (UNITED ASSOCIATION - —BT ELECTEIC TELEGRAPH— COrYRIGHT.) (Received March 7. 9 p.m.) WASHINGTON, March 6. The Federal relief rolls show the largest number of persons on relief since their inception. In all, 22,350,000 persons in 5,400,000 families are receiving 5,000,000 dollars a day as subsistence relief from the Government. It appears that onesixth of the nation is being supported in this way.
