MOTOR RACING
MEETING AT NEW BRIGHTON GROUNDS TO-MORROW Amongst the many riders who will be competing at the motor race meeting to be held on the New Brighton Trotting Grounds by the Pioneer Motor Club to-morrow afternoon "will be the Marlborough rider, A. Bradley, who now ranks as one of the most outstanding grass track riders in the Dominion. Bradley has performed this season with great brilliance, and recently had the distinction of lowering the record of the previously invincible Percy Coleman. In addition, he has this season annexed what is considered to be the hardest race held in the Dominion, the "Tourist Trophy," from a large field of New Zealand's best riders. That Bradley will not have things all his own way, however, was shown last evening, when some of those whom Bradley will be meeting to-morrow lapped the mile in 60 seconds. The northern riders are expected to arrive here this evening, and will be met by the local riders at the Pioneer Club rooms. In addition to the motor-cycle races there will be two open handicap races for light cars,, in which considerable interest has been taken. With favourable weather conditions there should be a large crowd to see what promises to be a thrilling afternoon's racing.
