EXTRADITION ORDER

MELBOURNE MAN CHARGED (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGUAU.) INVERCARGILL, March 7. An extradition order was granted in the Magistrate's Court this morning on the application of Detective-Sergeant C 'Keefe, of Melbourne, against Norman Frederick Putt, 35 years of age, married, who was charged with converting a car to his own use at Melbourne. The accused, who was arrested at Bluff on the arrival of the Maheno on her last trip, raised no objection to the order. The magistrate refused to grant bail, and Putt will sail by the Wanganella from Wellington next week for Australia.
