A scratch meeting open to all residents of the borough viil be held on the evening of March 21 to select Xew Brighton representatives for the inter-borough contest with Sumner to be held on Saturday, March 30. decision to set up an executive inside the centre, thus becoming an autocratic body, rendering the various clubs helpless in administrative matters. Mr H. G. Kilpatrick, in moving that a protest be forwarded to the centre, said that its action was neither justified nor necessary. The New Zealand council was now considering the question of restricting the powers of tne Canterbury Centre. The motion was carried unanimously. . It was decided to establish a clud badge to be worn on the blazer,, tne design to be decided by the committee. The meeting closed with a unanimous vote of thanks to the president.
