OXFORD CREW IN TRAINING
; THREE ROWLOCKS BREAK 1 (Received March 6, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 5. The Oxford crew, in the first row with swinging rowlocks, which were adopted last week, broke three, necessitating a return to the boathouse three times before 100 yards had been covered. Finally the outing was postponed so that fixed rowlocks could be refitted.
