RESTRICTED IMPORTS (IWIITISH OFFICIAL WIKELESS.) (Received March 6, 7.30 p.m.) RUGBY, March 5. Answering a Parliamentary question, Mr Walter Runciman (President of the Board of Trade) said the present position about coa 1 imports into Italy was that licenses would be issued to importers up to March 31 to the amount of 35 per cent, of their imports in the corresponding period of last year, but coal destined for the State railways would be admitted without restriction Coal which had left port for Italy by February If) would be admitted without rcstric tion. Mr Runciman will receive a deputation from the coal industry tomorrow to discuss the situation.
