PICNIC
TECHNICAL RUGBY CLUB The first annual picnic of the Technical Rugby Club, held at Diamond Harbour on Sunday, was favoured with, beautiful weather and was a most enjoyable outing for a large gathering of club members and their friends. Besides a variety of games, a programme of races was arranged. Mr H. A. Smith, in presenting the prizes, expressed the hope that the picnic would become an annual event. The following were the prize winners:— Club Championship—R. M. Tolputt 1, R. Todd 2, J. Ballinger 3. Three-legged Race—Hiss M. Reid and TV. G. Clothier. Ladies' Handicap Race —Miss P. Tobiil 1, Miss Shier 2. Men's Handicap—H. Tates 1, C. R. McCallum 2. Cigarette Race—R. G. "Wise and Mrs "Wise. "Wheelbarrow Race —Miss H. Hyer and A Chappie.
