BRITISH INDUSTRIES FAIR

RECORD BUSINESS REPORTED (BRITISH OFFICIAL V.'IRELESS.) (Received March 5, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, March 4. In the House of Commons, Colonel D. J. Colville (Secretary for Overseas Trade) said the British Industries Fair this year had proved one of the most satisfactory so far held. According to the estimates of exhibitors, the volume of orders placed far surpassed those of previous fairs. Many exhibitors had done record business. The attendances of overseas buyers in London had very nearly reached the total for the whole fair last year. The number of home buyers had increased by 18 per cent.
