The chairman expressed the pleasure the committee felt at the evidence that was being continually received from the affiliated associations and clubs as to the utility of the club rooms as the central headquarters of amateur sportsmen and their respective organisations, and the bright atmosphere that prevailed at their meetings. Mr Tench reported that it was the intention of the Motor Club to conduet a grass track meeting on the New Brighton Trotting Groiuids on j Saturday afternoon, comprising both liLiht ear and motor-cycle racing, for j which excellent entries had been rej reived, and the committee would be ! glad of the co-operation of the variI (ins affiliated bodies in making this meeting in every way an outstanding I success. ■ The following new members were I elected:—Messrs Cecil Wood.
