ACCIDENTS

* MOTOR-CYCLIST'S DEATH (MUSS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM..) WELLINGTON, March 4. Fatal injuries were suffered by John Sewell, aged 17, when the motor-cycle he was riding collided with a meat waggon at the corner of Vivian and Tory streets at 7.30 to-day. He was employed by Wood Bros., butchers, of Kilbirnie, and the lorry, which was driven by H. P. Smith, belongs to Woods Bros. MAN FATALLY INJURED (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEOKAM.I WHANGAREI, March 4. Robert John Kernohan. aged 31. a married man with three children, was knocked down in Bank street on Saturday evening by a motor-car driven by Duncan McLennan, of Kamo. Mr Kernohan had both legs and some ribs broken, his skull fractured, and he also suffered serious internal injuries. He died in hospital four hours later. He was an overseer for the Public Works Survey Department.
