The financial report of the River Board showed that the rates had been coming in very well, the sum of £521 13s Id haviitg been received since last meeting. There was a credit balance of £lll3 Is 4d. The day's pay-sheet amounted to £99 8s 6d, which included £ll6 18s 6d for wages and £43 19s for material used :a protective works.
