Before the end of this month 2000 schools in Germany will have been equipped with installations for the showing of films. This is part of the plan of Herr Rust, the Reich Education Minister, to supplement booklearning by a form of instruction which appeals more vividly to the child's imagination. He intends to have all the 50,000 schools throughout Germany equipped in the same way during the course of the next four or five years. Already 10 instructional films have been "shot," and 6500 copies made. Eighty more such films are planned for pr 'uction this year.
