Harrington, Ltd., grocer, and Brown Bros., butchers, were damaged by smoke and water, with considerable loss of stock. The cause of the Are is unknown. Insurance is held at Dunedin. The stock loss, as estimated by Wesney, who owns the whole block, is £2OOO.
