Cully . . 3 Time limin 11! 'J-0.-cc CULVERDEN SCHOOL The annual swimming carnival of the Culverden School was held at the Culverden baths on Friday. The weather was perfect and a large crowd attended. Waiuu and Ilanmer Springs Schools had sent teams to compete in the Fisher Cup. Competition was very keen anion;? the three schools. Culverden retained the cup, gaining 22 points. Waiau was second with 17 points and Ilanmer Springs third with J4 points. The events in the Fisher Cup were as follows: Springboard Dive, boys—Oulverdcn 5, Waiau 3, Ilanmer Springs 1. Springboard Dive, girls—Wniau 5, ilanmer Springs 3, Culverden 1. High Dive, boys—Culverden 5, Ilanmer Springs ,'i. Wniau I. Girls' Helay Team —"W'aiau 5, Ilanmer Springs :;, Culverden J. Hoys' Relay Team—Culverden 5, Ilanmer ili.ved Relay Teams—Culverden 5, Waiau 3, Hiinmei Springs 1. Tlie Culverden School championship cups were also competed for, the Hurt noil Cup, for boys, Being won by Nelson Dalzell 18 points, A. Filack J. 5 points- befng second, and li. Jllack li points third.
Tho Ingram Cup, for girls, was won by Ngaire Mockett, who gained 19 points. M. Mills was second with 12 points, and J. Dalzell third with 11 points. SOUTIIBRIDGE CLUB On Saturday attcrnoon the.
