REDCLIFFS BURGESSES' ASSOCIATION

The annual meeting of the Redcliffs Burgesses' Association was held in the library, when Mr F. Eldridge presided. The balance-sheet, showing a satisfactory balance, was read and adopted. The election of officers resulted:—Patron, Mr A. W. Beaven; president, Mr F. T. Eldridge; vicepresidents, Messrs Walter Nettle.ton and Neilson; committee, Messrs Manning, Wilkinson, Foster, and Saunders; secretary and treasurer, Mr P. B. Stevens; auditor, Mr A. C. Hullett. A vote of thanks to the outgoing officers was passed. Mr Nettleton reported that considerable erosion was taking place at the Estuary road wall, and it was decided that a committee would meet and inspect the wall.
