APPOINTMENTS OF MINISTERS CONFERENCE CONCLUDES (I'HESS ASSOCIATION TELEGItAiI.) DUNEDIN, March 1. The Methodist Conference decided to hold the next conference in Christchurch commencing on February 13. It was resolved to appoint a committee to consider during the year a memorial from certain quarterly meetings that, in cases of ministers assuming civic or parliamentary office, the conference should request their resignation as ministers. The following alterations in the first draft of ministerial appointments were approved:— Auckland Central—Roskill: Rev. H. J. Brown replaces Rev. J. W. Parker,' Auckland West; second home missionary replaces Rev. Gordon Parker. Whangaroa—Rev. V. R. Jamieson replaces Rev. C. E. Dickens. Kawakawa—Ohoewai: Rev. L. V. Hanna replaces Rev. C. J. Luxton. South Auckland—Hauraki Plains: Rev. C. J. Luxton replaces "one wanted." Cambridge: Rev. W. J. Oxbrow replaces Rev. J. H. Hadom. Hamilton (second): Rev. R. P. Keall replaces Rev. V. R. Jamieson.
Taranaki - Wanganui Wanganui North: Rev. J. W. Parker replaces Rev. G. H. Goodman (probation). Hawke's Bay-Manawatu—Foxton: Shannon reverts to the status of a home mission station. Wellington—Taranaki street —Brooklyn: Rev. J. H. Haslam replaces the Rev. H. H. Jeffreys. Hutt (second): Rev. A. R. Witherford replaces Rev. G. H. Goodman. Masterton (second): Home missionary replaces Rev. L. V. Hanna. Nelson—Reef ton (new circuit): Rev. C. E. Dickens. North Canterbury—Woolston (second): "One wanted" replaces Rev. A. R. Witherford. South Canterbury—Temuka: Rev. F. Hayman replaces Rev. H. G. Brown. Geraldine: Rev. R. P. Keall replaces Rev. W. E. Moore. Ota go-Southland—Dunedin (Morninglon): Rev. D. O. Williams replaces Rev. W. J. Oxbrow. The following changes in appointments for the current year of home missionaries was improved by the conference at its final session to-day:— Auckland District Auckland—Social Service Mission (Franklin road): the Rev. A. Dopper. Auckland West (second): The Rev. J. Hope Haynes (supply). Auckland East (second): The Rev. A. Mitchell and the Rev. J. Olphert to supply. BombayTuakau: The Rev. A. P. Dorrian to supply, Silverdale: The Rev. E. H. Dalley. Mahurangi second (Pakiri): The Rev. 11. R. Wright. Kawakawa-Ohae-wai becomes a circuit. Hokianga (Kohu Kohu:): The Rev. C. A. Bell. South Auckland—Ngaruawahia: The Rev. A. L. Witheford. Tamaki Plains becomes a circuit. Tc Puke: The Rev. E. J. Clark.

Nelson District—Murchison: The Rev. H. A. Cochrane. Reefton becomes a circuit. North Canterbury— Waddington: The Rev. W. Long. Belfast eliminated. South Canterbury—Geraldine becomes a circuit. Otago-Southland Port Chalmers (Ravensbourne*: The Rev. G. Densem. Dunedin (North-East Valley): The Rev. V C. Thomas. Mosg'iel: The Rev. N. Challenger. Lawrence: The Rev. W. J Henderson. 'Kaitangata eliminated. Kdendale: The Rev. J. C. R. Ashworth. Nightcaps: The Rev. C. Robinson. In last minute alterations to the final draft of appointments, the Rev. F. H. Hayinan replaces the Rev. V. R. Jamie-son at Hamilton (second); the Rev. R. P. Keall replaces the Rev. H. G. Brown at Temuka, and the Rev. W. E. Moore's appointment to Geraldine stands.
