TO VISIT NEW ZEALAND
'AUSTRALIAN CRUISERS LEAVE SYDNEY. February 23. The cruisers Canberra and Sussex 'eft this morning for a cruise to New Zealand, and will be followed to-morrow by the destroyers Vendetta, Voyager and Stuart. The squadron will carry out exercises in New Zealand waters. GERMAN FOR BRITISH GOODS BARTERING FORBIDDEN (Received February 28, 7.30 p.m.) BERLIN, February 27. Permission has been withdrawn for private clearing or barter deals involving the immediate exchange of German goods for British goods.
