PROGRESSIVE EUCHRE AT SUNNY SIDE

* An enjoyable card evening was held at the "Villa," Sunnyside, through the hospitality of the superintendent, last Monday, the players being the Addington Burgesses and the "Villa Euchre Club." The Ad'dington Burgesses won by 133 games to 117. Congratulations were offered to the combined efforts of the president (Mr B. Sloane) and the secretary (Mr The*, Falkinder) in providing such sociable tournaments. A pleasing feature of the evening was the presentation of a framed photograph of the Addington Burgesses' card team (who hitherto have never suffered defeat) to the *Villa Euchre Club."
