♦ THRILLING RACING ASSURED TO-MORROW ! Owing to the hold-up of the Wanganella in Sydney, the Monica Park management has had to alter the programme for to-morrow. It is only because Christchurch, Wellington, and Auckland work together, as far as possible, that such world-famous riders as Van Praog, Dick Case, Billy Lamont, "Tiger" Stevenson, and Arthur Atkinson have been secured for New Zealand appearances, and the late arrival of the Wanganella at Auckland lias upset plans. The consequence for Christchurch is that Lamont will not be present at Monica Park to-morrow, but with the appearance of Van Praag and Case patrons should be well satisfied. The change is, of course, beyond the control of the management. To-morrow's meeting will be the only appearance of Case in Christchurch this season, and that in ; tseif is enough to make every speedway patron determined to be there. He was one of the favourites in the Australian championship this year, and was starred in a special match against the present holder of the title, Wilkinson. Case's exploits in England, Germany, and Australia have earned him the reputation of being the world's most spectacular rider.
