Donaldson, for Ross, took six for 11. Ross Flower Show The annual flower show of St. Paul's Anglican Church was held in the Totara Hall on Saturday. Cricket The Foster Cup matches were continued in showery weather. At Waiuta, Ikamatua were dismissed by Waratahs for 33 runs, Fitzgerald being top scorer with 11. Blom, seven foils, and McKenzie, two for 9, took the wickets for Waratahs, who had made 71 for four wickets when rain stopped play. The chief scorers were Blom not out 45, Campbell 10. Nelson Creek had scored 8 runs for one wicket in their second innings when rain stopped play.

Playing at the Reefton racecourse, a men's team defeated a women's team by three wickets. The women ■ made 34 and 38 (Mrs Blom 11) and the men 52 (Lawry 29) and 33 for seven wickets (La wry 13). Athletic and Cycling Club The prospects of a sports meeting in Reefton this year are not very encouraging. The first meeting, con ducted by the Reefton Athletic and Cycling Club some years ago, was most successful, but of late years the interest taken by the public has dwindled to such an extent that the club cannot carry on. Last year every-, thing was done to popularise the annual meeting, but the support of the public was poor, and the club is now in a weak state financially. Ways and means of raising funds have been discussed, but the committee have had no option but to let lapse what was once probably the most popular meeting on the 'West Coast.
