( 11 ItISTCHUUCH TENDER ACCEPTED (SPECIAL TU THE I'KJSSS.J HOKITIKA, February 26. Eleven tenders were received for the erection of the new Scots Memorial Church at the intersection of Fitzherbert and Hampden streets. That of J. O. Gant, Christchurch, of £2450, the lowest received, was accepted by the congregation of St. Andrew's Church at a special meeting last evening. Tenders were received from different parts of the South Island, including two from Hokitika. The work will be commenced as scon as possible. It is expected that the contract will occupy six months.
