The two hundredth anniversary of the birtli of James Watt, whose improvements to the steam engine gave a key to the vast industrial expansion of last century, will be celebrated in January 1936. The New Zealand Society of Civil Engineers is sponsoring arrangements for the fitting commemoration of the event, and the Technical College Board of Governors has decided to assist in the arrangements.
