QUEENSTOWN EXCURSION

♦ Steady booking continues lor the excursion to Queenstown and Lake \Vakatipu, organised by the Christchurch Corsair Social Club. Two express trains will leave Christchurch at 4 p.m. and 4.40 p.m. on Good Friday, arriving back at mid-day Easter Sunday. The excursionists will have from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Easter Saturday a£ the Queenstown gala and regatta, and side trips, also four hours steaming on the lake between Kingston and Queenstown. Passengers are booking from as far north as Wanganui and from the West Const, and the success of tiiis unusual excursion seems to be already assured.
