OVERSEAS TRADE.
EXCESS OP EXPORTS OVER IMPORTS. (POTSBS ASBOCIATIOIT TXLB3BAM.) WELLINGTON, March 12. Figures for the overseas trade of New Zealand for the month of February, 1932, show that exports were valued at £4,434,627, and imports were valued at £1,804,492. For the corresponding period last year the figures wore: Exports, £3,294,873; imports, £2.396,528. For the period of two months ended February, 1932, exports were valued at £7,817,133, and imports at £3,977,244. For the corresponding period of 1931 the figures were: Exports, £7,035 1 202; imports, £5,408,583. The values Bhown for .exports are the deelnred f.o.b. values in terms of New Zealand currency, while tho imports are valued on the basis of the values in tho exporting countries, plus 10 per cent.
