LYALL BAY CLUB WINS. (rRESS ASSOCIATION TELEG3AM.) WELLINGTON, March 12. The. annual harbour swim for the Peck Shield was held on Wellington Harbour this afternoon. The course, measuring one mile 10SO yards, was a double ■ circuit from a kunch off Taianaki. street to Queen's Wharf and back to Taranaki street wharf. Fifteen swimmers started on the last lap from Clyde Quay wharf to Taranaki street wharf, but only ten finished out of 41 starters. L. Peterson (Maranui) was. the first man tc finish, touching Taranaki street wharf at 4.20 p.m. His time was Svmin. The iastest time. went, to F. Ryan (Lyall Bay), who covered the distance in SOmin. Lyall Bay was the only club to get four of-its taanrhome, ancHt won the, shield.
