PRISONER'S ESCAPE.
e CAR REPORTED STOLEN. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TBLIGIIAM ) NEW PLYMOUTH, March 12. A fresh development this morning in the search for the escaped prisoner, Charles Bennett, was the discovery that a car had been stolen at Awakino. The vehicle had 15 gallons of petrol in the tank, and was a Chrysler, painted bine. The car was missed between 11 o'clock last night and 6 a.m. to-day.
