RUGBY. CANTERBURY COLLEGE CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING. At the annual meeting o£ the. Canterbury College Football Club, held on Friday evening "Professor E. Speight presided over a good attendance. After a, slight amendment the club's new constitution was adopted. Annual Beport. i The annual report stated that aix teams bad been entered in the Canterbury Rugby Union's competitions last season without.any outstanding success. Owing to mjunes and the interruption caused by the vacation, the first fifteen was unable to maintain its high position in the competitions, while all the grade teams showed a decided, slump after the holidays. Ample opportunity was offered for training by the use of the lighted ground two nights per week, besides the usiial Wednesdayß practice. Thanks were tendered to Messrs L. Thompson, A. Struthers, and D. 3 Macdonald for coaching the teams, and also to Messrs J. K. Moloney and It. Beattie for their work on behalf of the club. - In both inter-College games the Canterbury College team was successful. A most enjoyable trio was made, to the Otago University team was defeated alter % close game. The reinstated annual match *ith Victoria College was also won. .' The following players Rained prominence during the season :-C. ?. Perkins, R.K King, J. W. Ewart, and R. N. Williams played for the New Zealand University &am against Sydney University, and all gained N.Z.U. Blues; A. H. Andrews played for the South Island in the mtei-Island *»me; W. Pease, E. N. Williams, A. H. Andrews, E. K. King, and P. O. Boberts represented tho province during the season, while O. H. Perkins, W. Wikmwhi, and W. B:yden played for the Canterbury B team. College Blues were awarded to K. &.. King, O. H. Pwrkins, B. N. -Williams,!!. E. Watts, W. Pease, N. Gray, and D. J. Wilson. College caps were awarded to the following fifteen players:—B. N.
