MURDER IN SWEDEN.

His daughter, on returning home was horrified to find her murdered father, Hjalmar von Sydow, who was a noted industrialist, and head of the Employers' Association, and two maidservants, all .seemingly battered with a piece of iron piping. In connexion with the crime amazing disclosures have been made regarding the career of the son of the murdered man. In addition to slaying his father and two servants, ho murdered an old farmer and his wife and sister-in-law, at Varmdo. He had borrowed money from the farmer, and therefore is suspected of murdering them in July, and also another old man, from whom he borrowed. Yon Sydow was an intellectual, but led a wild life, and committed sufcide dramatically at the end of a champagne and oyster dinner. He was presenting roses to his wife and guests when a detective arrived.
