STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION MEETING.
The annual meeting of the Canter* burv University College Students' Asso* eiation was held last night at the College. A large number of members at* tended, the retiring president, Mr J* G. D. Ward, occupying the chair. The annual report was read by tha retiring secretary, Mr J. D. Sargent, Copies, previously distributed, stated that the Association had had one of its most successful years. One of tha most important features of the work of the retiring executive had been the complete revision and re-drafting- of tho constitution, while the constitutions of affiliated clubs and societies were also being brought into line with the Association 's newly adopted ' constitution. There had been various improvements in administration inaugurated, while traditional functions, ' such as the "proeesh" and the revue, had beeu above the standard of past years. Election of Executive. A formal po.ll had been held on Tuesday for the election of officers and mem- , bers of the executive committee, and the results, announced for the first time last night, were received with great enthusiasm. They were as follows:—" President, Mr J. G. -D. Ward (reelected) ; women's vice-president, Misa Glare Camm; men's vice-president, Mr . J. F. N. Newbold; honorary secretary, Mr W. Kidlaad; honorary treasurer, Mr ; D. J. Wilson; honorary assistant secro* tary, Mr J. T. Watts; women members of the executive committee, Miss Joan! Bull and Miss Alison West-Watson; men, members of the .executive committee, Mr, A. G. A. Baigent, Mr B.- A. Barrer, and Mr D. H. Symes. The president announced that _ th® 1932 revue was arranged for the nights of May 10th, 11th, and 12th, at Sl~ James' Theatre;, and that there wiuld be reduced prices. On Tuesday, MttJJ 10th, the procession would be held, with. a collection for charity, as was carried out for the first time last year. This year it was proposed that women stu« dents should also assist in the' collee* question of the proposed changed the College'blazer to one without gold cord on the maroon material proved to be so provocative of discussion that •! referendum, will to taken next week*
