NEW BRIGHTON FIRE BRIGADE.

The members of the New Brighton Volunteer Fire Brigade yave a social evening on Saturday to their superintendent (Mr \V. H. Stokes), prior to his forthcoming marriage. Games and dancing were held, Mr lteg. \Voods being at the piano and Mr W. I'ever contributing the extras. In presenting a set of carvers to the Superintendent on behalf of the', members of the Brigade, the Brigade Foreman (Mr J. F. Stokes) conveyed : the test wishes of the Brigade to Mr W. H. Stokes.
