Henrietta Wingham, licensee of the Dominion Hotel, pleaded guilty to selling liquor after hours on February 2nd. A fine of £5, with costs 10s, was inflicted. William George Bailey, miner, of , Blackball, pleaded guilty to theft of articles valued at £1 5s 9d, and his brother, Henry Bailey, pleaded guilty to theft of a hammer valued at 7s 6d, the property of' the, Paparoa Coal Mines, i The police stated that the two men had previously borne good characters and had not been before the Court before.
